Dr. Michael C. Doody, M.D., Ph.D.
Chief Technical Officer
Dr. Doody is board certified and recertified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. His training was in the hospitals and laboratories of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Doody has over 28 years of surgical experience, and has performed approximately 9,000 laparoscopic procedures over the course of his career. He has also published numerous peer reviewed articles in basic and clinical sciences for industry leading publications across the country. His Ph.D. is in Biochemistry, and he has developed and patented numerous medical devices with special emphasis in laproscopic safety. Dr. Doody is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, the Society of Gynecological Surgeons, the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, among numerous others. He is a founding member of the newly formed International Pelvic Pain Society and he has been an Associate Professor of OB/GYN at LSU, Tulane University and University of Tennessee Medical Center.
Chris Doody, MBA

Chris completed his undergraduate studies at Auburn University, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Small Business and Entrepreneurship in 2005. In 2006 he attended the University of Tennessee for his graduate degree, and received his MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Chris has over 3 years of experience consulting with small to medium sized businesses taking new products to market. His areas of focus include market analysis and entry strategy, product branding and positioning, consumer insight, competitive analysis, and investment solicitation. Chris is also a graduate of the Knoxville Fellows Program, and still serves on the board of the Fellows non-profit parent organization, 4 Market Square.
William Milam, EE, PE
Chief Scientist / VP of Engineering
William has over 25 years of electronics engineering experience, specifically including the development and design of medical devices. His work history includes both large international companies (Honeywell and Philips) as well as small startup companies. William has worked on both diagnostic medical instruments and patient devices. Other product areas include radiation hardened integrated circuits and consumer electronics. He has been intimately involved with all areas of product development from concept stage through field testing and production ramp-up. For projects William is working on, please see our products.
